Description
Sunshine with a story — the Ambiya top is cut from soft, breathable cotton in a mellow butter-yellow, printed all over with traditional ambi (paisley) motifs in inky charcoal with lilac-purple hearts. The teardrop paisley, one of India’s oldest block-print motifs, lends this breezy top a timeless folk charm.
The front features a graceful V-neckline and a fitted bodice that releases into crisp box pleats at the empire seam, creating a flirty, swingy peplum flare. A striking black printed border runs along the front hem, anchoring the soft palette with vintage drama. At the back, a square neckline frames a corset-style criss-cross lace-up panel, topped with a delicate self-fabric bow at the nape — adjustable, playful, and utterly photogenic.
Light enough for the warmest afternoons and detailed enough for evenings out, it pairs beautifully with denims and kolhapuris, white palazzos, or a midi skirt with silver jhumkas.
